About RELLE

Practical support, earlier and closer to everyday life.

Why RELLE exists, how the model developed, and who runs it.

Why RELLE exists

Build capacity before stress becomes a more serious concern.

Many people can benefit from regular opportunities to practice emotional awareness and self-regulation. Those opportunities are often hard to find in the places people already spend their time.

Gyms, workplaces, campuses, and community groups already have the rooms, schedules, and regular contact with people. RELLE supplies the missing piece: a program and implementation process that can fit into those existing settings without requiring the organization to build one from scratch.

What the model is built around

Three principles.

01

Practice before crisis

Create opportunities to build awareness, grounding, and self-regulation before stress becomes a more serious concern.

02

Work through existing communities

Use organizations, spaces, schedules, and relationships that already exist rather than creating a separate delivery system.

03

Clear scope and responsibilities

Keep programming non-clinical and define the roles of RELLE, facilitators, and partner organizations.

How the model developed

From research to a repeatable process.

  1. Research

Looking at where people already spend time and what programming those places offer.

  2. Partner conversations

Talking with prospective partners about their settings, needs, and constraints.

  3. Pilot delivery

Running early sessions to test formats, roles, and logistics.

  4. Standardized process

Turning what worked into a common four-stage implementation process.

  5. Broader partner development

Applying that process with new partners across different settings.
